ABOUT 'FRIDAY STREET LIVE'
Friday Street LIVE are the only music promoters who work with the music industry and DIRECTLY in partnership with SteveJonesProductions.
SteveJonesProductions represent songwriters, producers and musicians within the music industry and have written, remixed and produced songs for John Legend, Leona Lewis and Christina Aguilera.
"We attend every month at the Cobden" says hit songwriter and producer Andrew Murray. "There's a lot of talent out there, & Friday Street seems to cherry pick the very best, which makes our job a lot easier."
Artists usually start by playing at one of our venues in Ladbroke Grove, Chiswick or Camden.
If your performance is a success, then you will be invited to showcase your talents in the Grand Hall (Cobden Club) to the music industry.
So, what are the so called 'industry' looking for ?

- "Obviously hit songs would be nice" says manager/producer Steve Jones ."but its not essential. I look for a unique sound, good voice and a strong fan base."

- "You've got to be much more of a business person nowadays, its not just about your music" says Joe Crowe of Aspect Records "A good attendance from your fans is important, we want to know there is a real 'buzz' about the artist."
- Ivan Chandler of Musicalities Publishing leans much more to the songwriting, "Being a publisher, I'm interested in the songs - and its quite simple. Great melody, great lyrics, filled with hooks!"

The Cobden Club
The Cobden Club is a private members club located in West London and is well known throughout the UK. Many great and contemporary names have performed here, recent performances include Elvis Costello and Lemar. The club has a stunning tubrosound PA system, and hosts an eclectic range of music, from up and coming new bands to major touring acts.
